Fall is a period of transition. For me it’s a time of inner reflection and an opportunity to get those things checked off my to do list in preparation to batten down the hatches for the upcoming winter months. The focus shifts to our family school year routine and the upcoming holiday period where everything seems a bit more cozy. What a beautiful time of year!
Not only are the seasons and my family in a transitional state, so is HTX Mom blog.
Many sage bloggers before me have stated that it takes a couple tries to find your blogging voice. I am definitely on that journey. It’s a challenge to find share my world when as many mothers do I am busy giving of myself from the moment my feet touch the floor in the morning to the moment I lay my head down at night. There’s not a lot left in the gas tank at that point, but I’m determined to continue on in this journey. I know that there will be windows where my time frees up again.
So while in transition I will keep on developing content in my non-existent free time and will have a full relaunch in January 2018. That doesn’t mean I’m going anywhere. I will still be here sharing my journey with you all and hopefully share some interesting, inspiring, and fun excerpts of motherhood in Houston.
